A distinction is made between various coat types in dogs. Each coat requires individual care. Both the grooming products and the technique used to treat the coat must be tailored to the respective coat type. Incorrect coat care can lead to structural changes in the coat, which ultimately causes it to lose its protective function. I will be happy to advise you on the right grooming regime for your dog.
The grooming can be carried out at your home or at my premises in Hamburg-Schnelsen.

For shampooing, I use products specially formulated for each dog’s coat type. Blow-drying is done with a pet hairdryer that becomes less hot.
The sensitive dog ears are protected with a hoodie.
Matting can lead to skin irritation and eczema as the skin underneath can no longer breathe. They are also a good base for bacteria, fungi and parasites. If it is still possible, I try to remove the felts and advise you on how they can be avoided in future. Sometimes, however, felt shearing is the better way to give your dog relief. I would be glad to discuss this with you in a personal consultation.

I will give you tips on choosing the right grooming accessories and how you can get your puppy used to being brushed and groomed by you or the groomer. I will also playfully familiarise your puppy with my equipment and introduce it to the procedures in the dog grooming salon.
The teeth are cleaned with a noiseless and vibration-free ultrasonic toothbrush that has been specially developed for animals.
My hourly rate is € 55.00.
The time required for grooming depends on the size and willingness to co-operate of the dog as well as the condition of the coat. I will inform you of the price after a personal consultation.

Animals have been a part of my life since I was a child and I have always been particularly fond of dogs. I have always wanted to work with animals, but after leaving school I decided to take a different path.
However, our dog Sumi and other great furry friends that I look after regularly have persistently encouraged me to return to my original idea in recent years. So at the beginning of 2023, I completed several months of training to become a certified dog groomer at the DOGing Station. I then set up my own business, Fellhaarmonie Hamburg, and groom all dog breeds using the appropriate techniques.
When dealing with animals, I emphasise balance and “soft tones” in order to do them the best possible justice. My calm manner and empathy are very helpful - especially when dealing with “difficult” dogs.
